PolyAll 2000 readily absorbs into wood. This means that it can
be used to seal wood against water including salt water, contamination,
insects, mold, and fungal damage. It can also be used to reinforce and repair
wood which has rotted (dry rot), split, or has become structurally unsound
through shrinkage or aging. PolyAll 2000 infiltrates the wood and then turns to a hard and strong urethane plastic inside the wood. The more porous and cracked the wood, the deeper the penetration. Wood which would crumble in your fingers will, with the proper application of PolyAll 2000, accept a nail or a screw and regain much or all of its original structural integrity.
